May has been falling in love with pottery over 10 years and has been making pottery since 2020.

Sarinrat Sornkam known as ‘May’ is a pottery artist based in the Suburb of North Melbourne, Australia.

Creating Pottery for May is an experience that allows her to gather her soul, energy, peacefulness as well as challenging emotions and bring those forces together in a way that creates artwork that feels like a meaningful way to express herself and her vision.

As a self taught potter, accepting failure, letting go, self forgiveness as well as patience and focus is a huge part of May’s creative journey.

Through Good Pottery’s artwork is inspired by Japanese culture, minimalism and abstract art.

The artworks painted on the ceramics are aimed to speak and connect with their audiences by themselves, it is also their intention to allow to viewer to at times feel uncomfortable, to feel something new or unexplored.

From the Earth,

for the body

Her pottery and artwork is a reflection of the way she strives to live her life that is true to her heart and her wish to create hope for people. It is from this concept that ‘Through Good’ was born.

Handcrafted, small batch, artisanal creations.
